Subject. Requests of Standard ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 and accreditation procedures

Training center of DA during 1, 2 and 3 –th of July 2008 developed training course with topic “Requests of Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and accreditation procedures”. Number of participants was 17 people for each group. Participants mainly were responsible for implementation and keeping of quality system in laboratories, students and other interested on training individes. The aim of course was to train over management and technical requests of Standard ISO 17025, acknowledgment of accreditation procedures and fulfilling of some technical requests of Standard ISO 17025 in analytical laboratories. Lecturers were representatives of DA.

Subject: Validation of analysis method.

Training Center of DA organized, during 7 – 8-th of July 2008, training course with subject “Validation of analysis method”. The goal of course was getting of information about conception of validation of method and necessary requests for its evidence, methods of determination of main parameters of method performances, possible methods used to establish validation of methods etc. 40 individs, mainly analytical chemists and representatives of managerial staff of laboratories, frequented the course.

Subject: Estimation of Uncertainties in analytical measurements.

Estimation of Uncertainties in analytical measurements was theme of training, being developed by Training center of GDA during 8 – 11 of July 2008. The aim of course was to inform participants about conception of Uncertainties of analytical measurements, evidencing of uncertainties sources, their classification and methods of uncertainties identification. 35 individs, mainly analytical chemists with low knowledge about uncertainties of measurements participated.

Subject: Quality Control in Analytical Laboratories.

Training Center of GDA during 9-14 July 2008 developed the course by theme “Quality Control in Analytical Laboratories” The goal of training was to inform about internal control methods and participation in proficiency testing. Control over measurements quality is basic condition on getting good measurement results and reliability.Developement of quality control system is one of requests for accrediting of laboratories according to EN ISO/IEC 17025.
35 individs, mainly analytical chemists and laboratories managerial staff involved in quality control procedures, participated.

Subject: Management System of Conformity Assessment Organizations.

Training Center of GDA started development of training courses in areas of accreditation. First course with topic “management system of conformity assessment organizations” was preceded during March – May 2008.It was followed by four groups, 15 participants for each group. This course was followed by responsible persons on implementation and maintenance of quality system in conformity assessment bodies, students and other interested people.
The goal of course was to orientate CABs on their accreditation’s application according to standard requests.
Mrs. Mimoza Cukalla , Professor of Engineering Faculty and certified lecturer by DGQ ( German association on Quality) as representative of GDA, was the lecturer of course.

Subject: Training to Standard ISO 17025:2005 General Requests for competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

GDA in compliance with Memorandum of Understanding agreed with General Directorate of Metrology and Calibration, organized in April 11.2007 training course “ Accreditation of Calibration Laboratories according to ISO 17025:2005” . “General Requests for competence of testing and calibration laboratories”.
The aim of course was to update interested parties on standard improvements and accreditation procedures.
Lecturers were representatives of DA, Development Department. Personnel from General Directorate of Metrology and Calibration and representatives from Institute of Nuclear Physic participated.

Subject: General Requests for accreditation bodies that acridities conformity assessment bodies.

DA in accordance with CARDS 2003 Project developed during 11-22 October 2004 training courses about ISO 17011 Standart.The aim of course was to recognize general requests to accreditation bodies that accredits assessment conformities bodies.

Subject: Measurement uncertainties, Traceability and use of reference materials in testing laboratories.

Supported by CARDS 2003 Project, during 21-25 November 2005, DA organized seminar “Measurement uncertainties, traceability and use of reference materials in testing laboratories”. The aim of seminar was giving of knowledges about concepts of Uncertainties and Calculation.

Subject: EN 45012 requirements for QMS certification bodies.

Accreditation Directorate in cooperation with CARDS 2003 Project during January 23-25 2006. organized the seminar “EN 45012 requirements for QMS of Certification Bodies. Staff of Accreditation Directorate, Board members, assessors and experts took part on seminar.

Subject: EN 45012 requirements for QMS certification bodies.

Accreditation Directorate in cooperation with CARDS 2003 Project during January 23-25 2006. organized the seminar “EN 45012 requirements for QMS of Certification Bodies. Staff of Accreditation Directorate, Board members, assessors and experts took part on seminar.

Subject: General Requests for operation of different types of inspection bodies.

Supported by CARDS 2003 Program, DA organized during 10-12 July 2006 training courses linked with ISO 17020 Standard “General Requests on operation of different types of inspection bodies”. Information about this standard will assist inspection bodies on, improvement of their proficiency in establishing of standard requests during inspection procedures, becoming more reliable by clients and consumers.

Subject: Proficiency Tests and Interlaboratories Comparisons, their impact on accreditation process.

Directorate of Accreditation, supported by CARDS 2003 Project, during 17-19 July 2006 organized training course for participation in proficiency testing and interlaboratories comparisons. Rumanian lecturer Mrs. Eugenia Cucu explained subjects such as “Types of interlaboratories comparisons and their part in accreditation process. Proficiency testing, their importance in application by laboratories.

Subject: General requirements for product certification bodies

Directorate of Accreditation , supported by CARDS 2003 Project during 21-23 March 2007 organized training course “ EN 45011 Standard – General requirements for product certification bodies” The aim of course was information about requirements of standard, which ensures product certification bodies to operate as third reliable and serious part in certification systems.
Lecturers were representatives from CAI .Participants were members of certification bodies, assessors and representatives from public institutions that are focused on procedures of accreditation of product certification bodies.

Subject: Accreditation Schemes of environment management systems.

Directorate of Accreditation, supported by TAIEX Project in 23 March organized workshop “Accreditation schemes of environment management system”. The aim of workshop was giving of know ledges to staff of DA, certification bodies and businessmen about standards and procedures of environment management systems.
Lecturers were representatives of UKAS and participants were members of public and private institutions, assessors, experts that are focused on to be trained on this scope.

DA Plan of Trainings

General Directorate of Accreditation during Aprill 2010 will organize training courses as below:

  1. Uncertainty in measurement 21-22 April 2010
  2. Proficiency Tests and Interlaboratories Comparisons – 28 Prill 2010.

Courses designed to orient the conformity assessment bodies to organize and prepare to be accredited according to requirements of relevant standards. Training will be conducted on the premises of Directorate General of Accreditation. Lecturers will be Directorate employees or representatives of scientific and educational institutions certified by certification bodies for personnel training.

Maximum number of participants for each course will be 15. For participation in these training applied tariff approved by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy, which will be pay by the participants (in person or institution).

DA will continue in the months following training with different topics. Calendar will continue to be published in our official website.
