The meeting was opened with a welcoming speech by Mr. Enno Bozdo, Deputy-Minister of Economy Trade and Energy. He emphasized that organization of this event in Albania has highly important because coincides with the decision of Albanian Government to apply soon for being candidate country in EU. This is a very important decision which is a result of remarkable work done by all Albanian Institutions for fulfillment of requirements of Stabilization and Association Agreement. He pointed out the role of Albanian Government and especially of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy for development of Albanian Accreditation System in line with European Regulation and accreditation standards.
In this meeting, 62 heads of European Accreditation Bodies taken part.
