Construction Sector Symposium

On 30 June 2010 it was organized in Tirana the symposium with the subject “The Albanian Construction Sector”.
The activity was opened by Mr Enno Bozdo, Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy. Several speeches were held by Mr Ivan Hendrikx, Team Leader of CARDS Project, Patrick Reposeur, Expert of CARDS Project for Accreditation, Mr. Gëzim Karapici General Director of DA, Mr.Bashkim Muça General Director of DPS, Mrs. Angjelina Kola General Director of DPM, as well as from other representatives of Albanian and foreign institutions.

Manufacturing construction products to European Standards as part of a modern and efficient regulatory system for construction represents both an opportunity and a challenge for Albania.
The Symposium also allowed private firms in the construction sector to demonstrate their products and services.
